Lunch Cards
You can now load money onto your child's lunch card with Paypal by going to www.pepifoods.com
Please let me know how much money you load on your child's card.  It is a lot easier for me to know if they have money or not.  If your child will be ordering, please write it on a slip of paper and send in a ziploc bag.  You can still send cash if you do not want to load on the card.

WE DO NOT BUY ICE CREAM IN 1ST GRADE UNLESS A PARENT IS THERE. WE ALSO DO NOT ALLOW SODAS AT SCHOOL FOR LUNCH OR SNACK.

Football Fridays
Our first football game will be Friday, August 30 @ 7:00 at Morgan Academy in Selma. That means SPIRIT DAY @ school. Please dress your child in field trip shirt, football jersey, cheerleader uniform or any red, white & blue!

Pep rallies are held only on home game Fridays. There is a football schedule on the website. We will attend the pep rallies depending on behavior from that week.

The cheerleaders sell booster badges for 50 cents and tattoos for $1.00 every Friday morning. If your child wishes to buy a tattoo or booster badge (or both) please send their money Friday morning. The cheerleaders will come around Friday morning to sell them to the children. GO PIKE!!!!

1st Grade Homecoming Theme
Since the theme this year for Homecoming is "Music Genres", the 1st grade theme this year will be Country music. We will either decorate a wagon or make a banner and walk in the parade on Thursday, Sept. 12th at 5:30. The children should to dress as a cowboy/cowgirl or something that is "Country" related.  We will line up behind the hospital at 5:15. Please let me know whether or not your child will participate in the parade. For the safety of all children, you will need to pick your child up behind the lunchroom as soon as the parade is over. Teachers will not be responsible for children during the glow-in-the-dark pep rally which will be in the gym following the parade.
