AR 
All students should take AR tests even though they have reached their goals. I did tell them that they can check out chapter books and only if you think they should will I let them test on those because they can be a bit harder. If they check out a non-chapter book, they must take a test on it. I have given permission to a few kids to check out a book that is not in their range. Of course they can not take a test on that book since it is not in their range. We only have a few more days of AR left. Some kids could double their goals if they keep reading and testing. :-)
