REMEMBER THAT MONDAY IS A HOLIDAY....NO SCHOOL!!

100th Day of School
Our 100th Day celebration is coming up Tuesday, Jan. 28th. This day is filled with fun counting activities! I will be sending some information home in folders later this week concerning our fun day. Please mark it on your calendar, so every one is prepared! :)

About Mrs. Blackwell

This is my 6th year at PLA and I am excited to begin the 2013-2014 school year. I am from Montgomery, AL where I went to Jeff Davis High School and then came to Troy. I am a graduate of Troy University (GO TROJANS) where I got a degree in elementary education.(I also am a bigtime Auburn football fan!) I have a younger brother who went to Macon-East in Montgomery (I know...big PLA rival.) I was married to Josh Blackwell on December 12, 2009. He works in Montgomery at a medical drug distribution warehouse and as a football/baseballl coach at Macon East (I know...I know...). I had a little girl on July 6th, 2013. Her name is Laken Gray Blackwell. She was born a little early but is super duper healthy. She was born 5 1/2 weeks early and weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces. She was 20 1/4 inches long. I am so in love with this little angel. I am so excited to begin this 2013-2014 school year. I know this will be a great year with this group of great kids.
